This year Molly Kate asked to draw the face on the pumpkin and we let her! I admit that I was a little scared, but she did an awesome job!! No, we didn't help her. We did coach her to practice first on a sheet of paper (shown for comparison in last pic) but she free-handed AND cut out most of the face! She and Eric cut out the eyes and nose and I cute the mouth for her. I have to say she did a great job. As tradition, we called JACK across the street when we put the pumpkin out. She has her picture taken with "two jacks" each year and Mrs. Lara, his mommy, takes our family pic for us.
